The root of this issue is that the Touch doesn&#8217;t contain a full blown iTunes client with separate podcast subscription capabilities and as a result, there&#8217;s no direct device-to-Internet podcast retrieval. The Zune doesn&#8217;t have a direct-to-Internet podcast capability either; you have to sync content from a PC running the Zune Marketplace software which in turn does the Internet downloads.
